Film montage (Film)

Archival footage was pulled into this short film as a critical component, aiding me illustrate some of the historical references which sit in Keisha's poetry and enabled me to add an extra element to what is a subjective account of one person's experience by expanding it to showcase the objective truth and reality. In focusing on the possibilities of using montage to illustrate a concept, I concurrently became aware of the benefits of incorporating contemporary expressive performance art to aid in my presentation.
