Nostalgia (Film)

Ruby was hired by Rebecca.Never.Becky Productions to produce a short film to be screened at the event, 'For the Nostalgia'.Which was a string of creative exhibitions and events, celebrating Greater Manchester's QTIPOC creatives. Ruby took a cross art-form appraoch to this project and co-produced live art on canvas at the event. The film, The Nostalgia responded to the theme, of Nostalgia. Featuring: Spoken word poet Ella Otomewo, independent artists Sarah angel and Creative director Rebecca Swarray. The film was recognised and subsequently screened by the Cornerhouse gallery, as part of the Superbia Pride weekend, held by Manchester pride. This canvas was produced using magazines, which ruby recycled and collaged, along other visual art, mixed media techniques.
