Liz offered me the opportunity to volunteer at the Castlefield art gallery. I knew the theme would link into the ‘Together We Move’ project. Volunteering has given me a clearer understanding of how the gallery works and what the projects aim is. Whilst programming my own event, I think it’s important for me to get to know my audience. Part of volunteering means being an ambassador for Castlefield art gallery and drawing in a new crowd.
