The first ever experimental film montage, a Wacom illustration tablet was used to record live footage of Ruby animating parts of the film. The film touches on how racism has been prevalent throughout the mainstream media. The clip from Betty Boop is reminiscent of the artists childhood, where the Rubberhose style animation was popular.
